He has been principal dancer CND (National Dance Company). Ryan Ocampo, a native of Manila (Philippines), began studying dance at the Cultural Center of the Philippines Dance with teachers Perry Sevidal, Agnes Locsin and Noordin Jumalon. After joining Ballet Philippines II and later Ballet Philippines, Ryan decides to continue his career as a dancer abroad in companies such as Singapore Dance Theater, Bühnen Graz, Bayerisches Staatsballet (Munich), Galili Dance Company and Het Nationale Ballet (Amsterdam), where he had the opportunity to dance solo roles in works of classical and neoclassical repertoire and working with many contemporary choreographers among which include W. Forsythe, Mats Ek, Jiri Kylian, Itzik Galili and Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. In the National Dance Company, he has worked with choreographers Johan Inger (Walking Mad), Annabelle Lopez Ochoa (In transit) and Ohad Naharin (Minus 16). Ryan is also a certified Gyrotonic instructor and Gyrokinessis.
